Nusa Dua and Jimbaran

Kakul Bar and Café

Tuban

All Stars Surf Café
The first surf café opened its doors right here in Bali. Expect all kind of revelry, surf memorabilia, sumo nights, happy hours and frothy margaritas. Live bands feature on Tuesday and Sunday night 10pm-2.30am. American style food, Kuta Center Tuban.
Taipan Karaoke Bar

Hard Rock Café
Presenting monthly programme of rock and roll bands on their down stare stage, the hard rock is a quality venue that is populer all year. Nightly bands start at 11pm on the Hard Rock's stage, 10 pm on Sunday.
Hard Rock Hotel
Hard Rock hotel's center stage presents acoustic acts nighhtly and special guests. Special performances are also scheduled at the hotel's Sand Island.
Paddy's
This all-in, Irish style bar features loud music and cheap drinks until late, Jl. Legian, Kuta.
Nero

Sari Club
A Kuta institution, Sari Club has been pulling in the tourists for a long time and srill going strong. Jam jars full of arak cocktails are bargain basement head crushers.
Bounty Ship I
The original Bounty Ship hass a funky bar that plays top 40 music, offers cheap drinks and attracts a young holiday crowd. 8pm until after midnight.

Bounty Ship II
An up date of the original ship, the new bounty has special theme nights, big buffet and a large bar playing top 40 hits. Check listing for guest DJ's. 10 pm until late.
Kori Restaurant and Bar
A comfortable cocktail bar at the front of the restaurant for those who prefer things a little quieter. Excellen cocktaila and an acoustic guitarist/singer add to the atmosphere. Poppies Land 2, Kuta. 758605.
Macaroni Club
A good spot for people watching, a few cocktails and a lighht snack. Life music features on some nights after 9pm.
Hulu Café
This is a spectacle worth seeing, and indeed any night when performance are scheduled this funky looking bar is packed. Great drag show featuring some of Bali's best performers, all welcome. Shows on Tuesday, Friday, Suterday and Sunday nights from 10pm. Jl. Menu, Legian.
Peanuts
Renovated over a year ago, but still pretty laid back and funky. A large air conditioned disco playing top 40 hits. Enjoy the bar, play pool, people watch or hit the dance floor. Jl. Legian, near the corner of Jl. Melasti.
Room Junggle Road Restaurant.
The bar up the back of the restaurant has been a popular hang out for years and still is. The hotel crowed often stays in and local and visitors come to hang out, enjoy cold beer and a few games of pool. Early until midnight. Room Junggle Road, Legian.
Zanzibar
Hip hang out by the beach at sunset, enjoy a cold beer and a pizza before heading home to freshen up for the evening. Legian Sunset Beach.
Soda club/Euro Club
Also on the beach this multitiered restaurant features a large bar, televised sporting events and Friday night DJ's sppinning the lates music until 2am. Legian Sunset Beach.

Seminyak

Double six
The original and still the busiest club on the island. Thousands of people pack in nightly to hear the latest techno dance music and look cool at various bars. Good late night pizzas. On the beach, open late. Jl. Double Six.
Jaya Pub Bali
One of the original music bars in town, it hass been eclipsed by more modern, funky bars. This is still a good place to meet some friends, join in a jam session and have a few laughs. Jl. Raya Seminyak.
Café Luna
This dance bar keep re-inventing itself, currently featuring techno dj's, live bands, fashion shows and the occasional much loved Donna Summers'tunes. After 10pm until 2am. Jl. Raya Seminyak.
The A Bar
One of Bali's most popular cocktail bar with the thirty-something crowd. Cool music and some of the best cocktails on the island. 8pm-2am. Jl. Dhyanna Pura.
Santa Fe
Santa Fe is good anytime, open 24 hours. Have a small bar but lots of tables to have a dink, snack or something mexican. The new music bar out back has yet o find its place in the world, but it look just great.
Q-Bar

Café Del Mar

The Bottle Shop
For those anglophiles and aussies who miss the local pub, you'll found a good drinking crowd here almost anytime but especially around 5pm when the coldest beers in town go down a treat. Great pub food, televised sporting events. 9am until midnight. Jl. Kunti, Seminyak.
Aina Bar
An intimate cocktail bar, slightly off the beaten track, for good cocktails and the latest music. Jl. Laksmana, Seminyak.
Malabar
A groovy little bar with the stlyish atmosphere, cool music, good drinks, cold beer and light jazz on Wednesdays from 8pm. Jl. Laksmana.

The Living Room
A complete fantasy, set on the back road to Kerobokan, The living Room has been busy sinde its early August opening. Small tables and center lounges cater for those not having dinner and are great for an aperitive, coffee and liqueur or just about anything. Very cool music and loads of candlelight. Jl. Naughty Nuri's
Baliness warung with a touch of New York, Naughhty Nuri's is a busy local hangout filled with Ubud style characters. Very laid back communal tables, a small bar, a roadside barbecue and a mean martini. Jl. Raya Ubud, near Neka Museum.
Angsoka Bar
This is a tiny little bar next to Terazo Restaurant where anything could happen. No crowd and a very intimate atmosphere. Jl. Suweta, Ubud.

Casual bar offering live reggae music. Good place to hangout if you cannot be bothered dressing up. Jl. Monkey Forest. Until 12.
Four Season's Sayan
Sunset at this spectacularly located bar is almost as good as a delicious cocktails, choice of good wines and refreshing cold lagers. Perhaps a bottle of French to celebrate the view? Live a little, spend a little. This is worth a look. Jl. Sayan Teraze, Ubud.
Biji at Begawan Giri
This is another suggestion for a little trip that will liven the senses and make you feel like celebrating. If you cannot stay for the wonderful food, yoou should make the trip to see Begawan Giri, take in the sunset and enjoy something truly splendid from the bar. Begawan Giri Estate, Payangan (about a half hour drive from Ubud)

Sanur

Jazz Bar and Grill
